Insurance, forms, n’ policies
Hopefully, an injury or ailment never happens, but just in case, we are insured to support medical expenses for pets who experience harm under our care. We also update our liability waivers based on client feedback and experience in the Greater Seattle Area. We are also bonded.

Cancellation policy
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer your reserved time to another pet parent in need of care. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable. Thanks for understanding and supporting a small business!
For overnight sits, a 50% deposit of the lowest amount of the requested tier is required upon booking overnights. The deposit is due within 72 hours upon booking. Deposits are partially, 50% refundable if cancellations are made before 6 weeks of the service start date.
Harness policy
We only walk dogs attaching the leash to a properly fitting harness. A properly fitting harness is a set of straps designed to go around a dog’s body that is has a space of around two fingers from the skin to the harness. The harness must be secured by functional buckles to be considered safe in our policy.
If the harness is not properly fitted, there is a risk that the dog may slip out of the harness in the event they suddenly jerk, pull, or thrash due to being startled/excited by something occurring in the environment outside of our control.
Improperly harnesses can include:
Harnesses that are too loose (have a space of more than two fingers between the skin and the harness)
Harnesses that are secured by buttons, string, or cloth
Harnesses that were previously broken and are tied/sewn together by a company/entity that is not covered by it’s own insurance policy
We make medical exceptions for dogs who can’t safely wear a harness. In the past, this has included cases like shoulder injuries, tumors where the harness would sit, and severe fear-based reactions that prevent the dog from going outside and using the restroom when a harness is used. We understand that the aforementioned cases are not entirely inclusive to medical situations where harnesses cannot be used, so please reach out and inquire whether your pup has an applicable medical situation where using the harness would cause harm.
If your dog requires a muzzle to safely navigate the outside world, your pup would need to work with one of our employees who are approved to work with dogs with bite/nip histories. We would also need more visits until the walker and your pup feel safe in the protocol surrounding securing the muzzle safely. We will only walk with basket muzzles that permit your dog to drink water and eat treats.
